CC Design Week
- March 6-10, 2017 -
CC hosted its first annual Design Week to celebrate the pivotal role design plays in everyday life. In coordinating this 5 day event, we wanted to emphasize design as a means to share knowledge and generate conversation -- to remind people that design principles are tools for innovation, critical thinking, and problem-solving across all disciplines.
CC Design Week took place on March 6 -10, Monday through Friday, and it was a huge success. It featured a full program of events, free and open to the public and included an agenda of various workshops, an alumni panel discussion, an Open House event hosted by the various creative organizations on campus, and more. We hope that Design Week will continue a legacy at CC and ultimately help bring recognition to the fact that our campus as a community of designers and makers at its core.
